Quality player good to have hi on board will egt a few goals and hopefully get a few against boro on the 1st day of the season will provide experiance and a very decent back up for riise or kewell did he play 4 rafa under valencia ?

This is a good bit of business.

I'm still waiting for some more "high-profile" signings, though. I mean, Rafa hasn't really spent anything when you think about it. Diouf and Diarra probably covered most of Reina's speculated transfer fee, when he finally puts pen to paper. Signed Gonzalez on loan for the time being. Zenden came on a free. And a couple youngsters, I think. Taking into account that most of the players we signed will be making around the amount per week that was taken off the wage bill with our departures...we haven't spent much money. Agent fee's and what not mostly so far. Unless I am forgetting something...

same here, but i think the 'big money signings' will be the dutch striker and the defender Milto (i think thats his name) ...i'm sure RAfa knows who we need

With all du respect for Zenden I jast don't think that the european champions matirial!!!!
We should be buying young, exaiting players who are hot stuff in the transfer market!!
Zenden is out of his best form so i think he will be on the bench
