Cue Baros getting injured before the Chelsea Match. 

really hope its not true, but that is what i keep hearing.

Benitez said he wasn't playing in his press conference yesterday.

Nobody said that Milan isnt a good player.
But he lost a lot of matches!!!!!
I think that we need at least one very very good striker.
But we must give more than 10 milion euro!!!!!

After Liverpool vs Chelsea game i am sure that we need a very good and strong striker(Morientes),a central defender(Hyypia is very very slow ),and an attaking miedfielder(Aimer).
Without 3-4 players we dont have any chances for anything.
We will be just a good team

i`d sell him, too injury prone and too tentative for a big keeper.
he`s a bit like david james, all the physical attributes but mentally not up to the pressure of playing for a big club.
he`ll probably do a good job in a few years time but we cant hang around watching any shot from thirty yards fly in whilst he gets his act together.

sell baros cos he's a dead horse? buy players like beattie or philips? you suggest we do a chelsea, just sell the club to the highest bidder so we can buy every player going, completely change the squad, and MAYBE win something?

you don't at all think that with the new additions to the squad we have and the couple who'll come in january to join the quality players already here along with the talents of benitez at getting the team playing well will see us rise naturally? i, personally, do. i don't think that throwing the baby out with the bathwater will get us anywhere. (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Andy my friend ok i respect your opinion but you dont have to speak to me like this.I am just saying MY opinion.I think that you misunderstood some things.I just sayed that we need some more class players if we want to win.And to buy players we need money.Thats all.I didnt say enything about to become Chelsea couse we cant.But we can buy some classy players.As for Baros i said he is a super player but he is injured very often.And look now with 5 at least of our best players out what is happening.Where is our bench?
In Champions League we dont have chances with this players or without them against the other top teams.From the final 16 teams we are the 14th or 13th strongest team.

you're opinions are as valid of those of anyone on this forum and i respect them as your opinions. but i'm sorry but i really don't agree with them. its true that baros has had a number of problems with his hamstring of late. michael owen had the same, he missed many many games while he got it sorted out.

and you have the opinion that buying buying buying buying is what liverpool needs whereas i really don't think that that is the case. we do need to bring in 2 or 3 good players this january - but we need to strengthen the squad not change it.

Our problem is finishing games off as we have too much posession and don't put the ball in the net, yesterday is not the first time this has happened, thus looking for QUALITY striker

liverpool doesnt have to spend all the money the club has to bring in "star" players in the squad now that the transfer window is open. we have a great squad with players that really want to play for the team and give all they can when they play. the only problem is that plays are not finished. every game we have more than 10 shots on goal and yet were lucky to get a goal or two in. What we need is a quality striker to play alongside baros because sinama and mellor, even if they are good strikers, are not experienced enough and we cannot wait arround until they are if we want to win. morientes would be a great addition to the squad and since he says he really wants to play for liverpool he would do his best for the team. some extra players could also come in handy in the squad not to fill anyones position but to step in when someone is injured or to rest players for big games.
