I'm sure Rafa has identified his targets and he'll be pursuing them but the negotiations will be taking place away from the prying eyes of the media.

Which is how it used to be. The problem these days is that the Internet has opened up a wealth of information, and everything's available on tap. So the normal fan expects to know about the latest developments and when you see other clubs making a move for top players, it does feel frustrating that we haven't secured ours yet.

But the transfer window hasn't officially opened yet. I'm sure Rafa has strongly requested whoever we have gone in for to keep everything zipped. He knows that he has control of the transfer budget his summer and no one else to blame if he doesn't secure the targets we need to make us stronger next season.

Mind you i wouldn't expect Rafa to go on radio and say we have 100Mil to spend
that would be plain stupid and just asking to be ripped off.

1st July the window opens but you can tie up transfers now in prep for 1st of July like Barry and Kaka so far

God no - was pretty decent in one game against the Mancs but after that was nothing special at all and would say nowhere near as good as reira .

Well he isnt going to announce the budget etc so prob trying to play his cards close to his chest .
