WTF seriously you got through and they gave you a ticket for going to 2 games, might try that later.

Yeah, I wouldnt even rang today its just I thought today was for those who have been 2 games. It was only when my brother told me I shouldnt of actually got a ticket today I realised.  If you have been 2 games, dont fret to much as their will be tickets tomorrow.

Yer I'll wait until tomorrow.

Then you have no chance as it will only go as far as Fan Card holders with 1 game on the card. 0 credits will not be allowed to buy tickets.

Then there will be empty seats. Unless there is a major lapse in people taking the tickets the qualify for there will be around 4,000 tickets available for 12-15,000 qualifying fan card holders with 1 credit.

Rafabenitez, when we got to the final in 96, tickets were given out based on season ticket serial numbers. With the new loyalty system in place, heaps more people have obviously been trying to get tickets for this game to boost their chances of a final ticket, if we get there.

i think im the only one who doesnt actually like going to football, i never have. I like the pub atmosphere and i know people dont understand that but stadiums freak me out lol.

with my work i get offered tickets all the time but usually give them to someone who would enjoy it more. because of this id never just try to go to the glamour games. in all honesty being the lazy guy that i am i really only see liverpool play in london. might make me a little bit less of a fan but at least im honest and trust me i support the team fully in my own way.

If you do not qualify then you wont get one as a ST holder on general.

I sat next to a cockney at the match yesterday, the area next to and around my season ticket seat is often reserved for the TV cameras, so no live game means different people sitting by me all the time. The guy said to me that he can never get tickets cus its really hard to get them.

Bollo.cks. I end up with at least a couple of spare tickets for most games home and away, and I dont work that hard to get them. You have to make a few calls and spend some time on-line, but other than that, not too difficult.

People just think its too hard and do not bother.

Pretty much spot on. From my experience and what I have heard/read if you try hard enough you can always get a ticket to a home league game at Anfield pretty easily excluding Everton, Manure and Chelsea. Early rounds of the cup shouldn’t be too difficult either I'd guess.

I went to the Liverpool - Brum game (Fowler's return) when I came over to Liverpool thsi year and managed to get a ticket from the credit card hotline after my application through e-season ticket ballot failed. The day they went on general all I did was spend about two hours trying to get through in the phone, and I got in block 207, row 42 of the Kop - an excellent seat - the lad who took the tours at Anfield said it was one of the best specs in the Kop.

So essentially Leon is right, if you put the effort in you can get a ticket.

FA cup finals, CL finals etc and away game are a different kettle of fish of course, but if you have a fan card and go to all the rounds prior to semi's/finals then you’d probably get a ticket.

while you were calling the ticket office at 8.30am with the other 3.000 people trying to get through i had already got my ticket by 9am.
the answer to your question i am not crazy!!!
i just like to queue for any massive games like the semi-final to make sure i have my ticket in my hand & not depending on the postal system to deliver my ticket (for the biggest game of the season)to my house with just a 10 day deadline. :eyebrow
