well stevie can hedge some of the stress now onto fowler.

i think ive been hyper ever since finding out about fowler coming. its just...massive, still cant work my head round it

Its like winning a competition Its just amazing at certain points in the day I keep remebering Robbie has come back and the feeling of excitment builds again.

Fowler: My prayers were answered

Robbie Fowler has revealed he feels like "a kid on Christmas morning" to be back at Liverpool.

The 30-year-old completed a surprise return to Anfield from Manchester City on a free transfer on Friday and he is determined to make the most of his second chance at his spiritual home.

"I feel like a kid waking up on Christmas morning every day now," said Fowler, who has an initial six-month deal with the Reds.

"It is something I wanted to happen for a long time and I'm glad it came about.

"If you pray enough for things I'm proof they can happen.

"It is nice to come back to the first love of your life. I'm happy to be here regardless. If that is in terms of football that is fine by me."
