The cisse rumours. - Anything in it?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

The scary part of this is that some of you actually believe what's said in the papers. In all the reports I've read regarding Cisse there have been no quotes what so ever from Cisse,us or the club trying to "buy" him.

P1ss poor journalists putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 as the end result.

We need to sign Owen. Four quality strikers is whats needed. Cisse, Owen, Nando and Crouchy. Mellor and Ponga as back up

Just get rid of the aadvark Baros

I was just thinking, isn't Cisse cup-tied in the CL now anyway?

Yes Cisse is cup-tied and if Benitez had any intentions to sell Cisse he would had put him on the bench like he did with Baros.

Rafa should sell Pongolle and Baros to finance the Owen transfer. I will be very disappointed if Cisse leaves.

nar we don't even need a quote to rubbish the reports. U'd have to be a mad man to sell cisse never mind when he's cup tied 4 europe as well

Supposedly Lyon placed a bid for Cisse so what happened? Echo reports that Lyon placed a 8.5 million bid on Baros.

Even if Lyon have bid for him, it's not liek we have to sell him is it! Tbh I think it's about as likely as the bitters winning the league.

I think you can trust the echo more than any other paper though. They are the local paper after all.

I didn't say that you can't trust them I was referring to how most poor papers were stating that we would sell Cisse but Echo the following day reports something totaly different.

Echo is a reliable source, but the likes of Daily Star,Kop Talk and all the other fifth rated papers who have reported that Cisse will be sold are not reliable by any means yet people still believe the :censored: they print.

If this rumor of selling Cisse was before the pre season, it would be more believable. As for rating Cisse, no doubt he had lightning quick pace but I tend to agree he is really not as skillful in one on one and ball handling. I'm sure he will get better but one thing that puzzle me is why Cisse not getting any start in meaningful games....
