They offered nothing at all first half. Xabi should of known better than to allow Kaka con the reff but its done now. I have seen nothing at all to stop me from thnking we will go on to win this game. Kaka did one great little turn, then Xabi shown him how easy it was by doing one of his own.Mascherano has been great, Pennant is growing in confidence and even Zenden is giving them something to think about. Like i said ive seen nothing to make me think of anything but a LIVERPOOL win, that is a poor Milan team that are there for the taking and we will take them :buttrock

My worry now is that Milan will just pull players back behind the ball now. They didn't do that 2 years ago and it cost them, and I have a feeling they may try protecting their lead as opposed to going out to take us on toe-to-toe.

Exceptional first half performance from the guys, I must say. Pennant has been great, but just needs a bit more to aim at in the middle. Would bet on seeing both Crouch and Kewell coming on around the hour mark.

Not over this one, by any means. We look a lot more like a team than we did two years ago, and it's only a quick lack of concentration and cruel luck that's stopped us going in after a half's work very well done.

20 mins...surely we need Crouch now, the Milan defence have not had any trouble from Kuyt and far too many times Kuyt had dropped deep when he should be up front.
