I think everyone is annoyed for several reason mate.

1) This is a rumour and should have been put in the rumour mill

2) You have said from 'several sources' and 'word on the street' - read the forum rules: you should at least quote your sources and even better provide a link to them.

3) No one wants to hear what your mate told you in the pub

4) You started a new thread for this rubbish

5) This is a Forum for debate, yes. But what could we possibly debate from your first post, except to abuse you for your stupidity?

He's not going.

If he was going to go, he would have done it last season, when he almost did leave.

He's seen what's happened to people like Shaun Wright Phillips and Michael Owen. Players that sign for teams looking for glory but finding themselves benched for most of the season and having to make do with an occasional appearance in a cup game.

He's hardly going to leave the club after losing narrowly to the statistically two best teams in the country and a bad result against Charlton, in a game he wasn't even playing in.

Like I've said before, the fact that when we lose (which is a rare thing these days) we are disappointed because we lose an opportunity to take SECOND PLACE IN THE PREMIERSHIP is a sign of just how far Liverpool Football Club have progressed.

We are still third in the Premiership and if we finished here I would be very pleased. We are still in the FA Cup (even though I don't give a toss about it) and are still in the Champions League.

Are we the complete package? No, not yet, we are still weak on set pieces and need to sign two predatory strikers.

Are we learning from our mistakes and moving forward?

Yes, we are.

To be honest, a contract these days doesn't amount to sh1t. As long as there is a player who is world class, and a club that is prepared to offer high wages and huge transfer fees, there is no ties to a contract. We've seen it before, and we'll see it again, especially with Real Madrid a huge perpetrator in this respect.

That being said, anyone could be leaving next season, as long as there is another club willing to go the extra mile to obtain a player's services, and if that means breaking a contract and paying out the club financially, then so be it. As I said, its been done in the past.

Stevie signed on with us, but more importantly, he WANTS to play with us for the rest of his career, and take control of the club in a managerial sense. We also had Robbie here before saying that he would never play for another club, and Houllier went and sold him, breaking his word and player contract.

At the end of the day, just because they've signed on for a further few years, doesn't necessarily mean that they will stay with that club. The club or player can break the contract at anytime if it is in the best interest of both parties. Anyone who is a professional footballer is not succeptible to it, not even Stevie Gerrard.

Oh and BTW, Stevie aint going nowhere, YOU MONG! :D

Using a bunt microwave pan, spray with non stick vegetable spray. Melt butter and pour into bunt pan. Spread brown sugar in bottom of pan on butter. Place pineapple slices around on top of brown sugar. Save the juice. Slice the cherries and place in and around the pineapple slices. Mix pineapple juice and one egg in the half of boxed cake mix. Pour over pineapple slices, cherries and brown sugar. Bake in microwave on high for 9 minutes on turn table. If you don't have a turn table, turn 1/4 turn every 3 minutes.

B@stard big long legged Giraffe, he never told me....
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On
