I have been following this player for years, his jersey is one of the few hung on my wall. He shouldnt be just a filling in the absence of skrtl. He is better than him. Skrtl will have to fight for his spot.

That is quite possibily the most ridiculous comment posted on this entire thread. No worse than that, ever posted, ever.
The only similarities between Skrtel and Kyrkiagos is that they both have arms, legs and a head. That's where it ends.
I believe he's better than skrtl. I probably know more about Srktl than you know about Soto.

Come on, he's a fan of a team, he has been supporting a player, and he comes to give us info, it's somewhat normal he has appreciates the player more than a player he doesn't follow regularly.
What Greekster says is true, no matter how cráp he was in Rangers, he may be perfectly a totally different player now. CB is a position in which if you are a good learner, you can evolve. Experience is a great asset in that position. For what Greekster says, he's dominant, for what Rafa says he's got experience, and we definitely could use that.

Its good to see foreign fans coming on here and giving us an insight to players they know about.I for one appreciate them doing so anyway cause I know little of this new defender!
You seem to have a very high opinion of Skrtel, hes average at best and a fuc'king liability at times IMO..there is no way he is a long time solution in our defence!
Its by no means impossible that this guy could turn out a better player..lets give him a chance before we call him sh'ite and all the rest!
And leave the guys alone, you should respect them for taking the time to come on here and give us their opinions...lets face it none of us know much.Of course we get the usual co'cks that go on wiki, youtube,do a bit of googling then come on and are experts on players they have never set eyes on!

How about Sock .

You'll end up calling him the Greek or Soto

Give the big one a chance. Why slate him before he has even played a game?

Imagine playing Skrtel, Kyrgiakos, Kuyt, Mascherano, Ngog and Carragher on the same team. The only ones missing would be Tevez, Ribery to make the most hideous team in the world. Just seeing that huge
greek would be enough for me to cross the street just in case.
