Sometimes I feel like I'm back in the playground where everybody thinks it's because of the goalie that we lost and not because the rest of us played like Sh*t.
First we should strengthen our midfield, then bring in a defence that can actually defend, and finally, if we're still not happy with our keeper (who'd probably look a lot better by then), we can start thinking about replacing him. At the moment however, Mignolet is in fact one of our better performers.
I'd go with this. 2 separate issues in it for me: form and ability. At some point, both seemed to be lacking with Mignolet. In the last few months however, his form has improved. Now, whether that is down to him improving his abilities (decision making in particular) or whether it's down to him gaining a bit of confidence I'm not quite sure. Regardless, replacing him shouldnt be 1st or 2nd in Klopp's list of priorities. The only issue is that the management might think that him/his position is one of the easiest to make changes in (his wages, reputation, wages of some of our midfielders, transfer fee and availability of highly rated GKs, transfer fee and January availability of some of our other targets, etc.)
