Our next 6 games - Potential must wins?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby RedSi35 » Sun Dec 12, 2010 10:03 am

Looking at our next 6 prem league games. All of them given our stature we would expect to win, but imo given our random form all 6 are minefields.

Fulham (h)
Blackpool (a)
Wolves (h)
Bolton (h)
Blackburn (a)
Everton (h)

Mixed in there is fc uterect in the ropey league and that dreaded fa cup tie with man utd.

Very tough month for us i think, all of those league games are against hard battling sides which we have seen numerous times that are players just dont seem up for

The last two fixtures will be tough, we are absolutely shocking against sides that like to get physical. We'll probably beat the rest on home form alone and we really owe Blackpool after the Anfield debacle earlier in the season so Id have that down as our next away win.

I doubt we'll get all 18 but I'm sure we'll get 14-16 points. Bolton and Everton at home should be tough, and the away games ofcourse.

EVery time we lose or drop points we come out with 'the next 6 games'. Yesterday was supposed to be one the previous batch of '6 games'.

Fk sake I can see it now come April. 'The next 6 games are winnable, we can get 8th!"

FOL

The only time ill be interested in the next 6 games is if I know Roy is gonna be sacked before they are up.

It's the new 'Roy' mentality now. As soon as we win a game, 'the next 6 games will define us and Roy'. What about the 15 or whatever other games that we threw down the pan? Take of the blinkers people.

If we win all our home games against  teams outside the top 5  from now  until the end of the season we might at a pinch  hold off a resurgent Wolves :)
