I want to give everone ten points! :D
All right, as follows:
Reina / Agger - 3
really hard to decide who should get the highest point. Both have made the most important contributions.
Carragher - 2
Gerrard - 1

3- Gerrard (that was an incredible free kick
2- Carra played great, dealt with a lot of offense, but made a two mistakes with handling the ball one of them very costly
1- Babel Looked very dangerous when he came on, just about as dangerous as Torres but in less than half the time, and he was playing wide right, which is probably his third best position.

3 - Gerrard (you know why)
2 - Kuyt (worked his socks off and created the 1st goal out of nothing)
1 - Carra (unfortunate with the handball but dealt well with Carew's knock-downs and flick-ons)

Gerrard 3 - For the goal alone ,let alone his midfield performance (keep him in the middle rafa)

Torres 2 - His first competative game for us and looked very promising.

Arbeloa 1 - Very solid and looked to get forward aswell ( i didn't vote for carra as he performs like that consistantly and it's something we've come to expect from him).
UP THE PURPS !!!

3- Carra. Asside from the hand ball (accidental), outstanding performance. Sure we expect him to perform this way every week but its been a long time since I've seen him and I missed watching him.

2- Gerrard. Phenomenal goal from the free kick, controlled the midfield, nuf said.

3. Babbel. Sure he played only 15 minutes but I really liked what I saw. Faced the defenders, powerfull kick, I really want to see him progress as he will soon be constantly in the starting 11 (IMO)

3.- points. Gerrard. Not need to be explained.
2.- points. Carra. Made a penalty, but the disadjustments that occured with several balls lost by other team mates, were not harmful counterattacks because Carra was there to abort them.
1.- point. Kuyt, not as outstanding goal to watch, but equally important, we scored because Kuyt was aware and gave the correct pass backwards, 2 actions that FORCED their experienced CB mistake, so it's a Kuyt goal in my view.

So, happy to see some of you naturally recovered this award. My point last season was you to familiarise with the game and see if you liked it.

So, how are we going to organise it this new year? Who would be ready to help? would you change the rules or have any suggestions? -- I have one, Joe, create a new thread for the new season!

3 points. Gerrard. No need to be explained.  :D
2 points. Kuyt. A lot of work as usual, good partnership with Torres.
1 point. Torres. Could/Should have scored just before the own goal, but a good first performance IMO.

Torres - firdst game against defencively well organised opposotion! and played vry well, didnt expect him to score first game but also i didnt expect him to play so well first game.

Arbeloa - very controlled didnt get flustered and did his job!

Gerrard - controlled the game in his rightful place pulling the strings!

I'll start the new thread for the Toulouse match. and the first post will be the results from Villa.  I think scaling so each game is out of a 100 is the way to go, to deal with fluctuations in the amount of people that vote.  Hopefully we can get a minimum of 10 per match.  for the results post I will include the raw score, scaled score, Total for the season, and last 5 games form. Might also include the tally for appearances, so if we can spot if someone performs well when they are given a chance more easily.
