i still cant believe where going to knock down a building that is steeped in so much history, christ ive witnesed some of the best moments of my life in that stadium, yes we have to move on i understand all that but god its going to be so hard to watch the old girl go.

She is not getting nocked down is she ent it getting rebuilt in to some sort of Plaza.

stadium is going but the pitch will remain where it is and will form the center piece of the anfield plaza, reports coming out are saying that the new owners have even had a go at the plans for the plaza and have got something special up there sleeves.

i know we shouldnt speculate but hey human nature and all that, 2 guys on rawk are claiming they have seen the new designs and there supposed to be out of this world, very futuristic and like no other stadium they have ever seen.

i think its next week they go before the council, i cant see them releasing pictures untill then.

The 18th  is when they will be out for the council can't wait till they are out to see for all. The rumors are they will blow are minds.

What an awsome stadium this could potentially be, how many other stadiums were designed with the fans purely at the centre of the arcitechts thoughts.....

god i hope the stadium will be 70,000 + i recall h&G saying in an interview b4 the CL final that they wanted the stadium to be massive in seats so as to be able to generate the funds needed to compete with the best in europe.... i wish its 80,000+ must be the biggest in u.k. for the best team in u.k. i know the reports are 61 - 68,000 and room for expansion but just hope they have the vision and foresight at making it the biggest in the u.k
