we are once again virtually fed to the wolves ... and our one form of consolation is a conciliatory letter from the cunt who has left the

Over reacting! No if anything it's an under reaction you tw@t. We are a complete joke in the eyes of other supporters and actually I'm that far off the same opinion myself. How the hell we can end up with a situation of having no strikers it quite beyond me, becuase in my view neither Borini or Suarez are proper strikers who you can count on to score goals.

Rogers says he wouldn't have let him go had he known he wasn't getting a replacement. So what transpired for him to be allowed to go and for us to not bring anyone in? Still many questions left needing answers. The stadium, the MD ect.... FSG should open up an open forum with SOS or some other fan group to alleviate fears. That's the only way they can truly keep the fans on their side.

Couldn't agree anymore mate.

I stated just before the window shut the other night that if we failed to sign anyone the owners would trot out this party line .....predictable much ?

“In Brendan Rodgers, we have a talented young manager and we have valued highly his judgement about the make-up of the squad.

saving up? werner said at the beginning of the summer that fsg had the finances to compete with anyone in the game.
if they were genuinely planning on bringing a striker in of falcao`s quality then you do at the beginning of the season when everything is still to play for, not halfway through when you are 15 points or more off the pace.

I dont think were "Saving up" I personally think Henry and Werner are seeing whether they can trust Rodgers with huge amounts of money. If we get top 4 this season which is still an easily manageable position to finish i can see them financing hugely in the summer of 2013.

Dempsey , but if the transfer window closes without this transpiring it will show the owners up for the cuntz some fans already see them as .

Disclaimer
If in the unlikely event the owners stump up the cash for a quality player before the deadline then I will edit this post accordingly .I cant see it though !
So expect that rather familiar party line from the owners in backing Rodgers credentials as a promising young manager ,which is worryingly becoming
somewhat of a safety net for our lame  landlords ever growing succession of failures.

Its not that I'm in any respect clairvoyant ,just sadly I expected little else .

Sorry but how is 4th place easily manageable when we can't score any goals and have a goalkeeper who is either momentarily incompetent or doesn't give a sh!t any more?

Do you want the club to be a self-sustainable club, or do you want a sugar daddy? It essentially boils down to that...

and after the sugar daddy is done with the club, what then? Sell all the world class players and sell it to whoever can fork out the money of what's left of the club and suffer 3 relegations in a row and play in the 4th tier league?

Why would that happen, surely the sugar daddy would want to sell the club for as much as possible, and you don't do that with no assets, i.e players.

Right one point from 9 isnt a great start saying that weve played 2 of the top 3 from last year. As i stated in another thread Arsenal were in the same position as us a year ago and ended up in 3rd place. We arent playing bad football were making mistakes that cost us goals and when the players have got used to the system you will se a side that not only is playing very attractive football but a side who should dominate and win most games
