Fantastic to hear. I think we have over reacted to behonest as we could have had a couple of penalties which could have changed the game. A win V sunderland and this place and the rest of the Liverpool supporters will have a much more positive outlook

What profit? FSG will never ever recoup the £300m they brought the club unless they sell it for far more than they brought it. I too have liked what I've heard, but the problem with this club is that there is too much talk and very little actions. Actions speak louder than words, John W. Henry's words do not match his actions. I don't think £6m for Clint Dempsey would have been seen as 'reckless spending' as he puts it.

Clearly Rodgers's is suffering a backlash from the previous regime's reckless attitude towards investment money, so I hope FSG do the right thing and stand by Rodgers, irrespective of the season we may or may not have.

they have genuinely come out and said how disappointed they were that they didn't get a striker, despite their best efforts. they really seem worried about this situation as we are. JWH letter to the fans underlines this. http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/john-henry-s-open-letter-to-fans

have a read, we're in this together.

Timly and a good response. Still though there will be questions over if Brendan will be allowed to re inforce in the Jan window.

But overall it shows that he is concerned with what the fans think. H&G would never had replied in that manner.

something I want clarification on though about money towards funds and FFP. Does the money we get in from sponsors count as money earned? So could that go towards transfers? I still feel Brendan wasn't given enough money this window and it may hamper how far we can progress this season. I'm sure I am not alone in feeling this Reg.

That's what George Osborne said prior to his Government's callous cuts to child-carers allowance, cuts to people's pensions and cuts to the Armed Forces while on tour in Afghanistan.

Also the letter, whilst being a nice gesture still fails to answer what went wrong with the Andy Carroll deal. Rogers says he wouldn't have let him go had he known he wasn't getting a replacement. So what transpired for him to be allowed to go and for us to not bring anyone in? Still many questions left needing answers. The stadium, the MD ect.... FSG should open up an open forum with SOS or some other fan group to alleviate fears. That's the only way they can truly keep the fans on their side.

As a club are we really so screwed financially that we could not afford an extra £2 million to get Dempsey, it's a joke and the owners are complete clowns imo. £2 million extra is not risking our financial future BUT it is a great way of p!ssing off the manager, fans and sponsors. Great job FSG and Ian Ayre you utter amateurs!!  :veryangry
We are fast becoming an utter shambles of a club and unless these Kunt americans sell our club asap and take out their precious profit then we'll be midtable team for a hell of a long time possibly for ever more.
