Everyone raves over the lad but I don't think he's any good personally!  ???

It's just cos he's come through the ranks that people rate him, but personlly I don't think he's good enought for LFC and he non where near as good as Pongolle, Baros, Owen or Cisse

I also don't think he's up to our standard's, he'd probably blossom in the 1st Division with a top ten finishing club!

Yeah, I don't think he's Liverpool class.  Probably a first division player or at best he could do a job I supoose for the yo-yo sides e.g. West Ham, West Brom, Leicester etc.....but never a regular first teamer at Anfield.

He was only thrown in a year or two back because we had no choice.  Saying that, Houllier was beginning to lose the plot around that time....

As much as we all probably want to see players coming through I dont think he will make the grade.

he wasnt exactly knocking them in from all angles for west ham either, so if he aint good enough for them he definatly aint good enough for us

It must be tough for him though he wants to succeed at Liverpool and scored a shed load of goals in reserves but in reality at the time he was only ever going to play a supportive role to Owen and we know how hard it is to find partners for him dont we. I hope he finds a team like Ipswich Town where he can play and enjoy good football, take his game on another level and maybe some day play in the prem. Lets not feel to sorry for him tho I would love to have his day job even if its just training with the lads. He is young a should have a respectable career ahead of him, unfortunatly I dont think it will be with us.
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

true- at one stage he scored 10 in 4 games for the reserves but looked off the pace in the prem'ship.
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,
Steve Gerrard Gerrard.

people saying he's a div1 player, but he was at West Ham on loan last season and stuggled there!  I say let him go...

We indeed had the "Mellorphant" as he was known, with us last season. Do yourselves a favour and get rid, he's shocking. We were awful last season and he even stood out above the journeymen we have as being poor.
