We come to anfield with only one goal : to have fun... without any pressure (comparing to the 1st leg)... that's why the team is going to win maybe 2-0 or more  ....
Remember, your players are very strong but they are humans like our players.... everything is possible !!! :p

Need to put a really strong team at the back out there.  Would play Kuyt off the striker because he is going to run his :censored: off.
                        Reina
Finnan      Hyypia        Agger    Riise
Pennant     Mascherano   Alonso   Yossi
                          Kuyt
                          Crouch
Bench: Itandje, Hobbs, Arbeloa, Lindfield, El Zhar, Lucas, Leto

Also, last year when we played the Momo-Mascherano central midfield pairing, it did not work that well, almost no creativity in the attack, and it would be a much better if we can score 1 or 2 in the first half, so we can put in some younger guys for the last half hour.

Obviously BIASED viewpoint and wishful thinking. You're wrong on several counts. One - Toulouse don't have a goal so they travel to Anfield with NO goals  :p  Two - they will be looking to go through into the group stages of the champions league, don't kid yourself they are playing 'to have fun'

Yes they have a chance, 1-0 is not a substantial lead. If all players were in some way equal as you are implying then anyone literally could win the Premiership or Champions League, yet it is always the usual suspects.

It's sad when people visit other clubs forums when their team is playing, so very sad. You're hardly going to get a lot of support with your blinkered view so go to an equally biased board or neutral zone where your airs won't be viewed with ridicule. See also the villa fan who wasted his time trying to persuade fans of the team they had lost to that his view of incidents was correct!

As for the team, I expect Hyypia, Benayoun and G.Raffe to start. I'd put Gerrard on the bench in case of emergencies but no more and not play him unless absolute disaster occurs. We need to score the first goal and then it should be easier as they'll need two and I can't see them scoring more than Chelsea did - even they needed a refs assist

I think Gerrard will play in CM, or at least come off the bench.
I would play Sissoko as well, given his performance against Sunderland. But I also think Mascherano needs games, that lad is quality.
Crouch and Kuyt should play up front and see what they can do - because lets face it, C,K & V are all battling it out for the other regular place up front with Torres.

Toulouse are missing key men as they look to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit against Liverpool in Tuesday's Champions League tie at Anfield.
Dominique Arribage (knee), Daniel Congre (shoulder) and Albin Ebondo (thigh) all missed Saturday's French Ligue 1 draw at Nice.

And the trio were not in the 18-man squad named by coach Elie Baup for the third qualifying round return leg against the Reds.

Defender Jon Jonsson has been struggling with a calf problem of late but he makes the squad.

Toulouse warmed up for their clash with Liverpool by grabbing a 1-1 draw with the southerners on Saturday, Andre-Pierre Gignac scoring the equaliser for Les Violets in the 86th minute.

Toulouse (from): Douchez, Riou; Ilunga, Jonsson, Cetto, Mathieu, Fofana; Sissoko, Dieuze, Fabinho, Batlles, Emana, Cesar, Sirieix; Mansare, Elmander, Gignac, Bergougnoux.

I would like to see a Mash and Alonso Central Midfield pairing. Still think Alonso is much better than what he is currently showing now (or for the last 2 years).

For this reason, this would be my team

                         Reina
    Finnan     Agger    Arbeloa    Riise
    Babel     Mascherano  Alonso  Yossi
              Crouch
                          Kuyt

1)Give rest Gerrard for the more important League matches
2)Give Pennant a break....(wouldn't want to over-exert him)

I'll be very dissapointed if Babel and Benayoun don't both start, I've started to become a little more optimistic about Babel's abilities and it's about time Yossi was given a run out. I don't think we need to use Gerrard here so Mascherano starting would be nice. Then I guess I'd go for Kuyt and Crouch up front, I feel sorry for Crouch who scored pretty consistently when given the chance last season and yet seems to have be sat behind Kuyt in the reckoning this year.

There's certainly a case for playing 3 at the back in the next couple of games, which would then leave us more flexibility on the bench. We've got so much quality going forward that even if we concede, I can see us scoring 2, 3 or 4 against Toulouse and Derby.

Example:

                               Reina

              Finnan        Agger        Arbeloa/
                                                 Riise

Pennant   Sissoko     Benayoun/      Mascherano   Riise/
                               Alonso                             Babel

                   Crouch             Voronin

We'd get battered if we played Riise and Finnan in a back 3.

I'd go for the following team vs Toulouse:

                                       Reina

     Finnan            Arbeloa                Agger               Riise

                       Mascherano            Alonso

Benayoun                                                                  Babel
                             Kuyt

                                              Crouch.

Bring Torres/Voronin/Pennant on as subs.

When i read you guys, i have the impression that Liverpool is an invincible team...
Our coach said : "In football, everything is possible"...
Please, don't be so confident (i am really serious).
Anyway I would be very sad if you were kicked out (with a mercato which is twice our budget)
Just imagine if it happens... "Toulouse, a team with a budget of €36 millions (the price of Torres) kick out the Great and Rich Liverpool"..... hehehehe  :eyebrow

Great to be able to put out a team that looks really good and not even have to worry to much if Stevie is fit. What a difference a few seasons makes.

Think we will get the result but feel it might be an edgy night.
3-1

Reina
Finnan
Abbol
Agger
Riise
Beny
Mashcerano
Siissoko
Babbel
Kuyt
Vorinator

Come on the reds :buttrock
