How frustrating could this be...how costly the missed chances?
Gerrard missing a penalty (should have left for Garcia...way to greedy and what a mess he made with that kick!!!)
Gerrard hitting the post on the 90th min
Morientes missing from 6 yards seconds later
CL hopes are up the ashes guys. Bolton won courtesy of another Diouf goal. We absolutely control the game for 70 mins, then lost the midfield completely. Words can't describe how I feel now... :angry:

great man by Alonso but very disappointing result in the end

Alonso...what a gem of a player. Inch perfect 30 yards passes, everytime. When we equalised, and while everyone is celebrating, Alonso go to the touchline getting instructions from Rafa. Clearly Rafa places more value on Xabi (only if he absolutely have to choose) as I feel he is more a tactical player that Gerrard will ever be. How we missed him for the last 3.5 months...

With the injured players coming back and the given that we should have won today. I still like our chances of fourth.

We can pull some wins together to close the season out. :cool:

it was better than most matches straight after champs league. we out played them and were unlucky. loveing how good alonso is and cisse didnt look bad for when he came on. risse should have started and carra should have been CB with traore LB but hindsight is never as good

should have won that, had enough chances to absolutely thrash them. Garcia plays some beautiful football, but the number of times he's blasted chances over the bar...and that finnan cross to morientes, gerrard penalty, gerrard off the post etc etc. damn. we're running out of time to take 4th place.

typical liverpool match
they have a few chances yet effectively converted to goals
we have loads of chances including the missed penalty, yet only two counted out of those up the ashes

Really DEPRESSING result

We actually played a REALLY great match and we should have MURDERED spurs.

If only we put away all of our chances....

Alonso is simply OUT OF THIS WORLD!! and Luis garcia was brilliant, so inventive and always trying to do something out of the ordinary and spectacular.

We must still have hope of finishing 4th.

We can still do it, anything can happen.

pelle , omg wtf is benitez doin letting him become left back when there are other options, he let spurs get a cross in and keane got lucky with the header
