Give yourself a pat on the back.
Oh, sarcasm. Clever.

Alonso started well but once he came under pressure the old problems seemed to surface, hurried and harried his passing suffered and he was caught out more than once in possession.

I am a little concerned that Torres is getting too much "stick" from overly robust CB's at the moment, in part due to Keane taking up similar positions which congest the space which Torres needs to avoid the challenges.

I think that Alonso started relatively well and had 20 awful minutes, worse than his average last season for instance. He fixed the disaster a bit by being the man putting the ball on the box in the last two goals, despite in one of them he was just lucky. Even Gerrard was lost in some minutes and gave away a couple of crucial balls, but he redeemed by winning us the match alongside Carra
