Played: Birmingham, Chelsea, Charlton, Wigan, Arsenal, Man City, Charlton, Arsenal

Win: 3 (Wigan, Arsenal & Man City)
Draw: 2 (Birmingham & Charlton)
Lose: 3 (Chelsea, Charlton & Arsenal)

Thats 11pts from a possible 24

Scoring -
For: 5 (Gerrard 2, Garcia, Kewell & Hyypia)
Against: 7

Everyone can be optimistic but lets be realistic, if we are to win this its not going to be by more than 2 goals. If we win it'll be a 1-0, nothing is going to change overnight. Our strikers won't just snap out of it and hit the back of the net for fun. One positive at least is that we've only lost once at home all season (Chelsea).

1-0, if we're really really lucky 2-0

Also we have Alonso (suspension) and Riise (thigh injury) missing and they have Diop missing.

I'm optimistic.  :D

Fulham have conceded 46 goals so far this season at an average of 1.9 per game.   They've lost 12 from 15 on the road, drawing the other 3 at Newcastle, Charlton and West Brom. Niemi (who I rate) is still out wth a hamstring which is a positive for us and though Warner (the ex Anfield trainee) had an excellent game against us saving certain goals from a Morientes volley, Garcia shot and a Hyypia point blank header, I reckon he's used all his luck up against us.

Fulham have the third worst possession stat in the league and last time we bossed the game with 63% of the ball only to lose to 2 counter attacks (again!). Fulham only had 3 shots on target the whole game... :veryangry

The best possible thing for us will be an early goal to spark the lad's confidence and then we could see a hatful of goals and some smiles returning to the faces of our strikers.

:D  :D  :D

We didn't need Fowler to get all five against Fulham like we did 13 years ago, just the first!

What i've seen of the highlights upto now it doesn't look as though it was a very dominant display and far from convincing at times. It's been said a lot in recent weeks but Traore just doesn't deserve to wear the red shirt.
Has everybody checked their lottery numbers yet 'cos before this game their was probably better odds of winning the jackpot than liverpool getting 5 goals and three of them coming from our forwards. :p

Can someone explain the cornerflag incident at the end?
Why were we keeping it in the corner when 5-1 up?

It's been said a lot in recent weeks but Traore just doesn't deserve to wear the red shirt. He looked bloody awful again at times and putting the ball at his feet anywhere in our own half is just asking for trouble.

I have a theory about the drought our strikers have been suffering lately; they just don't wanna be the first one to score 'cos they may then get subbed not long after - just look at what happened with robbie tonight.  :p
(Probably bollox i know but anythings worth a punt IMO).

Why criticize the team when there is a such a big positive from this game? We took all of our chances tonight which we havent done in such a long time.

Exactly, it's pathetic, even Rafa was saying put it in the box. I hate when teams to that. I thought we were above that sort of thing, especially when 5-1 up in a league game. It's unprofessional really and it incited the fulham players at the end. It's not exactly a cup final and you are leading by one goal is it?

Pointless, don't approve of it at all  :no

only one game. No one predicted that!

If we hadnt of beaten them, we should have just thrown the towel in!

not bad, but you are only as good as your next game.

News not showing the goals either.
