I agree Baros has looked a little off, but we haven't needed him so far.

Lets get Stevie one, and call it a night!!!!!

no doubt about it, but their is still plenty of football left and Juve are proven quality.

However playing to the Kop End in the second half, I can see a similar level of perforamcne from us in the 2nd half - they key is no away goal and maybe even nick another of our own.

Juve are throwing their kitchen sink at us right now...why no one is picking up Nedved?? He is central to every dangerous move Juve made...and we got to win more second ball...hang on there lads

Sloppy goal to concede.

Carson should have had that.

Liverpool 2 Juventus 1.

We've won.

Liverpool 2 Juventus 1.

Shame about the goal they scored, but I'm happy considering no one really thought we would win.

Go to their ground and score and we could be OK, even though we should again take the game to them like we did tonight in the first half.

tell you what i'll take that no problem, an unfortunate mistake by young carson and we held our own for the rest of the game i honestly feel alot more confident after the game than i did before it . Don't forget xabi will be ready for the second leg and there defence weren't really convincing to me , we can definatly score out their

Very, very pleased with the result.  We're on the way up.

Cappello can stick his 3-0 prediction up his ar$e.

Without meaning to sound doom and gloom, I think we definitely need a big performance in the next leg.  We've got a slight advantage, the Boss will make sure we build on that.

Well done tonight boys, Juventus didn't know what had hit them in the first half there.  Their quality showed in the second half, but tonight was a fantastic game all round.

This was only Juventus' 2nd loss of the champions league this year, the other being to real madrid.

bit disappointed at the away goal, but we still have the slight advantage, and we beat Juventus for god's sake, unthinkable this time last season - well done lads! :)
