you say its not about money but your talking balls, you took 59 players to our club and yet will still not have a top 4 team, you gave us your word that we would get into the top 4 this year and we have not, you let some of our best players go.

you spent over 250mil of the clubs assets and yet its 4 years since we won anything.

Give it a :censored: rest mate. You know if he was really given 250Mil all one go do you think he would have gone for the same players he went for? You look at the overall figure but you need to look at how that money was spent, the 1 in 1 out policy which pretty much forced us to abandon any hopes of building a decent squad.

We are in a right state. That article pretty much sums up their entire tenure here. It's been lie after lie with them. For all you who want Rafa out you may well have got your wish but if you think we will be getting in another top manager who can put the club right think again.

Kraft wouldn't have been any better. He even voiced concerns himself about being able to compete with Chelsea in the transfer market. You speak as if it's the fans who sold the club to these 2. It's Moores and Parry who are blame for all this.

bavlondon..you are correct..i am very angry about the situation....the team is poor, the owners are idiots and i just want to win....if the krfts had bought the team they would have had a system installed to win...it isn't all money and what they have done with the patriots is impressive. here in detroit the elder ford owns the lions and they are awful....lets say wc ford has a wee bit of money (he also married a firestone so mega bucks)
there is no apparent plan, no leadership and maybe its time to rebuild.
its folly to try to compete monetarily with chelski, but a good program with foresight and intelligence can beat money 9 times out of ten.
my only hope is that dic will be hands off owners and let the pros run it.....i had a colleague who owned shares in the team...why can't the clowns do a public offering and cash out....make the team owned by the fans as a traded company. then we can really bi*ch about management

Personally I would have preferred we were sold to DIC. I know now they are in a spot of trouble but by now we would have surely had a better team and the stadium would be well under way. I don't think they have the money now though to buy us. Only someone from Abu Dabhi I think as that is where all the real wonga is. The bailed out Dubai I think..

Anyway I know it's not a positive but in finishing outside the top 4 we have effectively lowered our asking price so that should speed things up.

Last time I checked Rafa's promise wasn't dependant on funding. He made it mid-season FFS!

He was keeping the faith. Anyway it still doesn't change the fact he was :censored: over with the spending last summer and it has ultimately contributed to our bad performance this season.

Bavlondon, of course the funding fiasco by the owners played it's part but not a single game goes by without me scratching my head at some of his teem sheets or substitutions! he is bewildering! Just today he brought on an unfit Ngog instead of the talented teenager Pacheo!? last years rant at Fergie when we were flying was stupid, crass and pointless and it definately helped Man U.
Yes we need new owners and investment, we need retructuring, but most of all we need a new manager.

You mean his guarantee? He should have been able to deliver, but since we couldn't beat brum or Fulham and lost to Wigan, that's just in the last 10 games, what did he expect?

And those three games in which we dropped seven points weren't dependant on funding surely? I mean we have spent more money and have better players than them don't we??!?!? Those seven points dropped would have put us in fourth, three points ahead of citeh and two ahead of spudz who have to play citeh. You expect the odd slip up in the league, even the mancs had their's at Turf Moor, but we do it regularly against poor sides - and not just this season. Plenty bleat on about money, "net spending" etc, but the fact remains we shoot ourselves in the foot by not winning games we should - that is when Rafa looks like he's interested in the win. I've picked out three results just in the last 10 games, you could pick out 6-12 per season that were just plain bad, I mean I've not included a draw at Wolves or the defeat at Fratton Park or the poor defeat at home to villa which you could argue was a decent visiting side, but losing at home?!?!?

If you did a predictor for the season, I doubt you'd think twice before putting us down for wins in a lot of games we don't, thinking of course that we could draw them but nine times out of 10 we should win - but we don't. Therein lies the difference between us and the mancs, they do slip up, but they win the bulk majority of the games they should while we simply aren't nearly as efficient.

mancs Premiership 09/10

vs 01-04 : P6 W4 D0 L2 (Won 66.67%)
vs 05-10 : P12 W6 D2 L4 (Won 50.00%)
vs 11-16 : P11 W9 D2 L0 (Won 81.82%)
vs 17-20 : P8 W7 D0 L1 (Won 87.50%)

One slip up against Burnley, draws against Blackburn away and Sunderland at home, but they've won 16 of their 19 games against bottom half opposition. They have been vulnerable, away in particular, against top half oppostion, as 10 wins in 18 games against the top half sides would suggest.

Liverpool Premiership 09/10

vs 01-04 : P8 W2 D0 L6 (Won 25.00%)
vs 05-10 : P10 W3 D5 L2 (Won 30.00%)
vs 11-16 : P12 W7 D3 L2 (Won 58.33%)
vs 17-20 : P7 W6 D0 L1 (Won 85.71%)

We've won 13 of our 19 games against bottom half sides, a whole three wins less. We've also drawn half our games against sides placed 5th to 10th, three of those draws at Anfield (Fulham, brum and citeh) Wins over the top four are a bit of a lottery, last season we won four and drew two, this season we've won just two of eight and lost the rest. But I would say that most of the draws and sloppy defeats are not down to "lies and broken promises".................... I certainly don't blame losing to Wigan or Pompey on money, other than it being poorly spent in the summer on two expensive eggs for the one basket

What people seem to conveniently forget is that Rafa is in control of the team. I hate the yanks as much as anybody. They are a pair of cu'nts without a doubt who have made us look like a shower of stupid pr'icks with their shenanigans. I curse Moores and Parry for inviting them into our home.
But this is Rafas team.
Full stop. He has bought and sold plenty since he came here. He has spent huge amounts of money, and recouped some as well. But the fact remains that anyone who is still on our books is here because Rafa wants them here, regardless of how good or bad they are.
Why should he be given more money? To improve his squad? When will he get it right? How long and how much does he need?
Why is he blaming someone else for his teams lack of success? The yanks are an easy target and Rafa knows it. So he spins us round and round and they become the enemy. Are they the ones whove brought us to our knees finishing outside the top six and getting us knocked out of all cups? Are they the ones who made us draw against dross and lose against sh'ite? Are they were the ones who prevented us from winning the easiest European trophy while two teams who are not even in the top ten of their leagues are in the final?
He doesnt fool me with all his posturing and excuses. His treatment of the fans has been appalling. Talking about juventus and how he could have gone for big money somewhere else? Disgraceful and disrespectful and all those who support him are bigger mugs for doing it.
I personally have had enough. He wont change because he doesnt want to. He has convinced himself, and others, that he is blameless in all of this. He is playing the victim and hes conned others into believing him. Others who want him to go are frightened of who will replace them. I am too, but we cant go on like this.
Some say " Better the devil you know". Well I know Rafa and I think he should fulfill his destiny somewhere else because what Ive seen this season fills me with more fear if he decides to stay.

I have not been on here for a while, i figured i would see if RAFA was as good as his word. 4th place.
Well it seems not. No tropheys for years, players brought in who we didnt need. Millions wasted on rubbish.
I see people blaming the owners, I to want rid of them.
But lets face it  when RAFA goes he will be remembered for signing Robbie Keane (never given a real chance) and Aquilani (buying an injured player for 15mil plus). Then when fit not playing him.
Time to go RAFA.
I for one will be glad to see the back of you.
