:) did you think kewell perform well against crew in his second debut for lfc? well personally in my opion i think he was in spectucular form, twice hitting the bar before being subsituted. i just wanted to know from the rest of you what you thought of his perfomance?? let's hope kewell and diao will recover soon in time for the amsterdame tournament.

I WANNA SEE THIS MAN PLAY A REAL GAME WITH REAL PRESSURE BEFORE I DECIDE IF HES WORTHY OF CALLING HIMSELF A LIVERPOOL PLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
When you get the ball, I want you to beat a couple of men and smash the ball into the net, just the same way you used to at Bury," said Shankly. Lindsay replied: "But Boss that wasn't me, it was Bobby Kerr." Shankly turned to Bob Paisley and said: "Christ Bob, we've signed the wrong player."

:D hey doesnt it take time for a player to settle into their new club??? in kewell case he trained later then everybody else did and also had to carried the weight of that transfer fiasco on his shoulders, isnt he doing enough in two games for him to be worthy of a liverpool player? just wait until the new season starts, let kewell begin to know his new teams mates and their style of play and then you see the kewell that everyone has been talking about.

it takes a while to bed in to a new club and remember form is temporary but class is permanent.
anyway every player who started well seemed to end up doing nothing e.g. berger, clough etc.
a lot of people who saw dagleish play his first game at anfield thought " he`ll never replace keegan" !!!!!!!
i`m surprised no one has mentioned the press speculation about owen wanting away by christmas if we are struggling.
usually the echo rubbishes these storys but strangely it ran a piece on gerrard signing and didnt mention owen.
hmmm......

An old thread I know, but just goes to show just how long H has been frustrating us supporters.

I think it is put up or shut up time for Harry, and if he does not do it in the next couple of months then I really think he may be on his way, possibly as early as the January transfer window.

I hope myself that the recent additions and Warnock really bring the best out of H, cus he simply cant go on living past glories.

I think Harry needs to be dropped for his own good, Warnock needs to put some good performances in and really push him for his place.

Think he has lost his confidence, probably getting worse as he feels the heat from some new faces in the dressing room. My bet is on a move to Middlesboro' following Bazooka boy.:(

Kewell is a great player.  Write him off on your peril, give the lad time, he'll prove good  :;):
