He cost us 20 million quid, he SHOULD be a vital cog, not a shadow of a player who might be good.
You talk like he was a free transfer, not a poor piece of business
How can you express an opinion you believe to be validated on (using your words ) "one so young " formulated over the course of one season ?
Its a contradiction in terms ,you either have the least amount of patience on this forum or you truly believe your opinion based on a season
were Jordan has regularly been utilised in an unfamiliar role and largely in a team seriously under performing will be vindicated next season .
You're missing the point.
If you re-read my post you will see i don't doubt he'll improve; however, for the money we spent, I feel Hendeson should a lot, lot better. Instead, he looks like a guy who's just stepped off the youth team tour bus.
He's representative of Kenny's failings in the transfer market: spending big money on players who either arn't ready or good enough for LFC.
Firstly ,I did read your post ,but I still believe any young player would be overawed at the prospect of playing in front of the Kop . I mean its not like
playing at Castle Grey Skull a stadium largely made up of Koreans and Bangledesh's most rich list , with a handful of indifferent corporate blurts ,this
is Anfield where 100% commitment is the least the supporters expect .
Even the most experienced of players have froze in front of the Kop ,Crouch and Keane are two obvious examples ,and if young Jordan wanted a prime
example concerning application he needs look no further than imo the best defensive midfielder plying his trade on these shores .....Lucas Leiva .
I had every faith in Lucas right from the get go ,that the quality was indeed there, he just needed the patience of the fans and a stage to hone his skills
I believe Henderson will succeed in much the same respect if given much needed valuable time in our midfield .
