Come on Guys This is not fair. Emile is a lovely kid. (Fact) He makes a nice cup of tea. (Fact) Martin O'Neill put him in Charge of the kids at Leicester. (Fact) He has the upper body of a greek god. (Fact) He never gives back lip.

Seriously Heskey is a good player stifiled by a system, manager and 5 year plan aimed at turning great players into planks.

Houlier is a success, his five year plan in working.

his recent run of good form might persuade somebody to hand out a few million for him during the transfer window.Get rid of him while hes worth a few bob I say.

Heskey has improved, but i don't think he is the long term answer for owen's partner, what happen when he goe's on one of he's regular droughts?

Heskey, Heskey, Heskey.....

I remember that for about two months in 2000/2001, he was absolutely brilliant. The continental teams couldn't handle him at all. He absolutely destroyed Olympiakos away, and in the home game against Roma Walter Samuel (the gaylord) actually pulld Heskey's shorts off in an attempt to hold him back!

Since then it has been all down hill.

Heskey is a great player, in a cr@ppy kind of way! But Houllier is a greater manager, in a cr@ppy kind of way! Like some of the earlier postings, I totally agree that Houllier is magnificent in turning decent players into planks and he had 5 years of honeymoon to do it, and how he has produced so many planks. Lucky for us, Liverpool have some world class players, but given Houllier's past records, he will turn the Owens, Gerrards and Kewells into ordinary players but not planks (if he is given enough time) because they are great players to begin with...
Let's get rid of this "Plank Master" and perhaps even Heskey will improve...
