I dont care about starting a new topic i dont use this anymore.

For the people who went to the Tottenham game and Portsmouth and Chelsea why the :censored: are you chanting Torres name?

He wasnt at any of the games to hear you he wasnt on the pitch. So why? Get off his Dick Yes he is an amazing player but hes not going to do sh!t in the hospital bed. Whereas Kuyt who has been a really good stand in why Torrs been injured doesnt recieve half the amount of support

Why not?

Its a good song and it gets the fans going. The man deserves all he gets from the fans if he plays or not! Is it okay for Uniteds fans to sing about Ole Gunnar or Cantona? Are you telling me that if Gerrard isn't playing it should be a written rule that we cant sing about him either.

Have you not got other things in your life to annoy you then this stupid problem??

What is the point of chanting it. How about singing about Kuyt or Carragher or Agger or Reina or Riera or Mascherano or Alonso. Yes torres is fantastic but why sing when hes not even there to hear it. My point is not dont sin about Torres but players who are putting the work in and trying to win the game for us is getting treated like a piece of :censored:

I wouldn't exactly saying they get treated like a piece of :censored: ! I dont think the players would mind Nandos song being sung - I really dont think they would care

It's a waste of a topic this really, the song is sung because it gets the fans going and it's a good song to sing.

I too was surprised when I heard for the first time that an English crowd chant the name of somebody who's not on the pitch.

I thought back then "won't the players in the pitch think that the crowd doesn't trust them enough but the ones that are not available?"

But I think I understood it. It's not that the supporters support only the starting eleven but all the squad, and when members of the squad are through a bad time of injury they are chanted as another sign of support.

I understand your logic richard, but it's not that they have to got off Torres' dick, because they have done exactly the same with Mascherano when he was in Beijing, Gerrard when he wasn't available, and Luis Garcia.

I also noted that the more beautiful the song is the more likely is to be sung, and both LG, Torres, and Gerrards are nice to be sung.

Did you go them games?

Because i was at 2 of them an as far as im concerned its not just a song about Torres it gets us fans goin its great.

I was in the stands yesterday an even the spurs fans were impressed with our belting out of the Torres song . Other players do get there fair share of songs . But this one seems to get the supporters lifted aswell. I dont think the players give a :censored: to be honest about wether there name is sung week in week out
But believe me wether Torres is there or not there no better sight than us all bouncing the players know were there for them all .
