I know its stupid as their from diffrent time periods, but do you think evans midfield and attack combined with houlliers defence could acheive anything? think of this starting line up

Unfortunately I didn't read your post properly before voting - I believe a mixture of Houlliers defence and Evans attacking philosophy would certainly have challenged for the title. Houlliers defence at its best would have leaked a few more goals with Evans attacking philosophy coz Hyppia an Hench lack real pace but we would have made up for that by scoring plenty the other end. Tis a tough call for right back - I was a big fan of Jonesy but Babbell was absolutely fantastic during the treble winning season.

I was a big fan of both Jones and Babbel. I haven't seen much of Babbel at Blackburn, is he back to his best? and if so, any chance of a return?

No chance of a return whilst GH is still in charge. He took a personal dislike to Babbel and froze him out permanently, just like he has done with several other players of whom Henchoz seems to be the latest and Anelka was the stupidest
