Happy Birthday lad

YNWA

what a gift the lads have give ya
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)

Don't come by much these days mate but rest assured I'll never forget you Phil. I was gonna put "my" mate but you weren't "mine", you were everybodies who was a Liverpool fan, be they pro, anti (they hadn't been thought of back then) OOTer or local. There's been many times over the last couple of years when you being around would have made it better. I'm not sure which side of all the fences you'd have sat, but I reckon whichever side it was you'd have argued your point with the humour and grace which you always did.

Save me a seat upstairs in the corner by the big screen fella and get em in (start me a tab if you like, it's probably free up there anyway). I'll be along before you know it and we'll get get stuck in, have a laugh and get b0ll0xed. Never forgotten mate, Mick.

BTW, there's nowt wrong with me that I know of, so don't get em in just now or they'll be flat as a f@rt when I get there  :) .

Not been in here for a while.....just thought i'd leave a post.

The lads are fighting, right 'til the end, just like you did/would.
Hope all is well with Karen and the family.

Another new season phil and no doubt you would have had plenty to say about the summer shenanigans. Have a word with the big fella and send some luck our way, i think the long wait will be over for this year.  :nod

Walk on Phil, you’re gone but never forgotten

AND THE WORLD THAT I USED TO SEE IS GONE
WITHOUT A TRACE
REPLACED BY YOUR EYES AND THE SMILE UPON
YOUR FACE

THIS IS MY PLEDGE TO YOU
I WILL FOLLOW THROUGH TO THE END

WE'LL BE HOME AGAIN

TRUE LOVE

WE'LL BE TOGETHER
