Does the value go up - For the players

If anyone scores in the final their value will go up. I think Garcia will already be worth quite a bit more, same as Carragher, Biscan and Riise.
We aren't going to be selling any of those 4 though.

A good performance on the european stage will of course boost any potential transfer fee. Chelsea forked out 24 million for Drogba on the back of a few impressive performances in the uefa cup last year.
Going back further. Toto Schillachi scored a few goals for Italy in the 1990 world cup. Suddenley he was hailed as a prolific marksman (even though he started the tournament as a sub). Juventus snatched him up soon after but he never played a good game again......so with a bit of luck Biscan or Traore will score a wonder goal next week and we'll be on to an earner.
