Wish him a full recovery it seems even Karma doesn't want him picked before Sakho.

Its best for him and for us maybe when his back he will perform better. Wonder when his back from injury will he be under new management.

Never good when one of your players gets hurt. Sakho will come in and do a better job but I hope Lovren is back soon.

After slagging him off quite a lot since he joined I think he deserves a mention for quite a solid performance yesterday, albeit in quiet a one sided game. He dealt with everything very well, held the line alongside Sakho far more naturally than Skrtel, and used the ball sensibly.  Hopefully we’ll see more of the same when he gets more opportunities.

Mate, a bit soon to give Lovren a "well done",  we could've played without a goalie yesterday and they still wouldn't have scored    :D

Even so, credit where it's due, he did well yesterday.

Has to be said.
This guy is starting look like a defender; now that he is asked to defend and only defend.
Starting 11 places are heating up. Players won't want to pick up injuries if this continues...

He had a decent game, but Sakho still destroys him. Needs to take this opportunity to win his critics back.

Still not convinced... His lounges shows that he's not fully in control of opponents' attacks. To be fair, the defence in general even though much improved, still looks like it can concede a goal or two, especially after the injury to Sakho.

Lovern is a Sub CB and that is how we should evaluate him. As long as Sakho and even Skertel are fit he has no place in the starting line-up.

Given your comments about Klopp's weak team selection prior to the City game forgive me if I ignore your comments about Lovren who I thought played ok.

Tongue in cheek mate! Until recently I wouldn't have had Lovren near the club let alone playing for us but things change and Klopp seems to have the ability to get a lot more out of players. Sakho has also improved considerably and is beginning to show why he has captained the French national team. Not long ago the Sakho jury was well and truly out !!

Hope the hats going down ok
