There are some good players there, okay we are a bit light in CM but the likes of Coutinho, Sturridge, Benteke, Sakho, Firmino, Markovic and even the much maligned Mario Balotelli have all got ability.
If someone can come in, get everyone singing off the same song sheet and get everyone putting a shift in then I think we could surprise a few people.

With a lot of players it's likely about squad status and wages. Milner for example is vice captain and simply not worth over £100k a week. I can't see the new boss wanting to keep him in his current capacity.
The same could be said of Hendo though he has much more to offer than Milner and would probably be humble enough to hand over the armband if asked. But again, over £100k a week? And who will take them off us at that price?
We may see more of Lovern under a new manager too, and I believe Balotelli too could yet make an impact.
Benteke and Ings will have time to impress.
Thinking about it it could be a wise move to change manager now. Not as smart as doing it at the end of last season but at least we'll see motivation from those that have the right mindset.

Ancellotti won't be looking at pulling players back from loan deals, he'll want new signings. Big names, star players not some 'jonny not good enough'  whose on loan to Crewe Alexandra. I'd doubt any of the above with the exception of maybe Llori will grace the Anfield turf any time soon.

Tend to agree.  Those players on loan must feel very exposed.

Not a strong squad IMO for the money we've spent but it is a young squad. If Klopp came in, kept them together and gave us some tactical and formation stability with team continuity we should get better.
