Chelsea v liverpool - Different line-up

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I don't know about that, but we aren't going down the right road. Yes we need time but look at Chelsea, they got new manager, new players and they have adapted very well.

I really don't know what Benitez is trying to do here, we are not Valencia. 4-4-2 is Liverpool not 4-4-1-1. Our midfield should not have Riise,Finnan,Traore,Diao. Right now it should be Alonso,Garcia,Hamman and Warnock. When Gerrard and Nunez is back it should be Alonso,Garcia,Gerrard,Nunez. Up front Cisse and Baros.

If we plan on having good partnership up front it should be Baros-Cisse not Garcia-Cisse.

We have a complete different game plan when we play away. We might even end up 5th at the end of the season. I thought we could hang on to a 0-0 draw but it wasn't ment to be.

We seriously suck balls, we are missing Super Stevie and the poacher Owen. I don't like when a team is revolved around two players but without them we aren't looking good. No one fears us without Gerrard.

I am starting to get a bad feeling...not one to post knee-jerk but we just didn't performed in the past few games. I don't mind the occasion 1 goal lost but not for without trying. I understand Rafa always used different playing strategy home and away but we just didnt produce result. Why Diao and Traore? I am extremely dissapointed with Kewell...what a waste of a great talent

No one fears us without Gerrard

It should read "we fear someone will come for Gerrard"

I think that too. Our days of ruling English football is over. We struggle to even come in the top four these days.

As the old saying goes "Nothing lasts forever". Our reign in English football is over, however a miracle can always happen.

I saw many headless chicken running around tonight. Carra and Hypia played excellent and Cisse was ok but the rest of the team sucked big time. I don't mind us losing but was kind of upset with the way we lost. What the heck was Diao doing there? If rafa wanted to show case him to other team, choose a lesser team to put him in.....

yeah 4th place, oh fantastic acheivement under houllier, u're forgetting benitez is only in the job two months, houllier had 6 years and all he could manage was 4th place and one year we finished 2nd and that was it, give the man a chance instead of slating him
