Going to be an interesting draw on Friday.

Ideally, I'd love to be drawn versus Juventus, Sevilla, Roma or Bayern Munich.  I'm confident we can beat any of those.  :buttrock

They lost because they were f**cked from chasing us all over the park from a few days ago.

Karma is a bitch Maureen.....

The crank even mentioned us in his post match on BT Sport, the little fella cant help it ! The all important Champions League draw is Friday inclusive of the best teams in Europe but to Mourinho and the United fans its just the day before Saturday  :D

Yup it will be an interesting draw i can't wait.

I would love to see City get paired with Real or even both Spanish sides paired up.

As for today i would prefer if Chelsea beat Barca. Atleast one big team would get kicked out.

From 5 Epl teams its gone down to two.

Bayern through which was expected and Barca beat Chelsea 3-0.

So we've got

X3 Spain
X2 England
X2 Italy
X1 Germany

Is it me or the CL schedule appears to be different this season? I don't remember the matches to be spread out over weeks like this. I seemed to remember all fixtures are played within 1-2 weeks?

Yeah they are dragging it out, probably at the behest of advertisers or sponsors or someone.
As for the draw on Friday I wouldn't even be that bothered if we got Barcelona, I watched that game tonight and Chelsea were the better side, the 3-0 scoreline was largely down to Courtois channeling his inner Mingolet. I would have stopped 2 of the goals myself.

I'm pretty sure it's been like this for a while at this stage of the competition. It's so more games can be televised which ultimately means UEFA and the clubs pocket more money.

For those who are going to watch the CL draw live, here's a small piece that will have you chuckling towards 11am  :D

Quote of the week:
“Mourinho is starting to look like a washed-up rock star, one of those guys that goes around holiday hotels for pensioners playing old hits on an organ with the bass and the percussion playing on a tape recorder.”

Bring any of them on. Don't have a preference, all of them have their dangers

Bayern - Klopp would relish them but not certain he'd approach it level headed.
Juve - defensively sound, our front 3 may struggle to breach.
Madrid - they love the CL.
Barca - Messi. But we'd definitely get chances against them.
Roma - hate us and viewed as an 'easier' draw. Always a danger
Sevilla - been in our group, knocked out the Mancs but one we should win
City - the neutral would love it, not so sure my heat would handle it well

Yep, I'm not bothered who we get at this stage, i quite fancy Barcelona, they don't look the most organised at the back (which should suit our front 3) and it would be nice to dump them out of the tournament especially after they tried to throw a spanner in our works when we played Hoffenheim in the qualifiers.

Avoid the big physical teams like Bayern and Juventus and we should do well. I think those 2 are the only teams that's gonna cause us big problems.

I wouldn't want City yet it would be an awesome spectacle but not yet.

My gut feeling is we will get Juventus or Real Madrid.

Exciting times oh yes.
