Carson

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I think Chris Kirkland is better than Scott Carson. He has had miles more experience and has played for England. Carson may be just as good in a few years but for the next season stick with kirkland.

Er... where did you get your facts from mate? kirkland has never played for England unless you count under  /21s? I prefare carson kirkland is too injury prone he will never play for england proper :oh:

How can you tell? Have you seen Carson play at all this season in the seniour squad? No you haven't. While Kirkland was fit he was p1ssing his pants everytime a ball was crossed into the box. He has his strengths but his weaknesses got exposed too many times.

potentially kirkland is one of the best england could have. but in reality he cant go two games without injuring himself and at the moment we are carrying dead weight with a player who never actually plays

I think we should give the lad Carson a chance to prove his metal.

I do not think he will turn out to be a long term solution - i would like to see Green brought in from Norwich in the summer.

i havent seen enough of carson to say whther i rate him or not. i made that mistake with kirkland and then realised id never seen him play 3 games in a row. im quietly confident tho

Kirkland is slow and is afraid of his own shadow. he's a liability. i'm not sure about carson but i think he'll be our next no.1 after a season or 2
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,
Steve Gerrard Gerrard.

if carson is as good as they say he should be able to step into the first team right away. his age is not a problem. just look at casillas - he went into the real madrid first team when he was 18 and is one of the best keepers in the world. AND he's still only 23 now.

Never really seen Carson play but I hope I get the chance soon cos Dudek isn't exactly playing out of his skin and always looks nervous :(
