Cisse bows out with the same grace he displayed since the day he arrived.

The Mark of the Man

I'm sorry for his injury worries but I'm not going to miss him.  ???

What exactly do you mean by this. He said that rafa told him to go and that he didnt want to leave. i don't see what you have found so bad about this.  ???

Or maybe you didnt read the article and just read its title of 'parting shot to rafa'  ???

I hope the loan deal is only a short term one until January, with Marseille having to pay a fee to keep him after that.  If it's a season long loan then next summer his value will have depreciated no matter how well he plays in France because he will be coming into the last year of his contract.

I'm glad he's going because he is probably one of our top earners and is blatantly not good enough.  I also don't like his tendency to moan to the press which I feel must be disruptive to the other players and staff.

To be honest though I still feel sorry for the guy.  He was bought for twice what he was worth (which is not his fault) so we all had unrealistic expectations of him.  Then he suffered 2 broken legs in as many years and found himself at a club where the manager has not fancied him from day 1.  Hopefully we can get a decent fee for him in the end and he is able to resurrect his career in France.

what is the problem.  he has said rafa has asked him to leave the club and he was upset!

I really don't see what the big issue is.

How on earth do you rate crouch ahead of cisse.  I keep asking but nobody seems to come up with concrete examples.:blues:

they're different players Crouch suits rafas way of playing and cisse doesn't Rafa played cisse out wide 90% of time it was blatantly apparent cisse was never in rafas long term plans

Surely he could not have been too surprised.

Anyway best of luck Cisse. Hope you find the back of the net.

I am sad that cisse has gone, if he had been in every starting team from the day he got here i sure he would have become a star, the sad thing was just as he started to look good he done his leg.

Good Luck cisse .....dont forget you are on loan and if you stick 28 goals in this year i hope you could come back.

It's not specifically THIS article. Cisse has never been happy at LFC, despite how much he professed he wants to stay and fight for his place.

He has a well documented history of petulence and intolerance when not being named as the 'main man'.

Let's face it, he hasn't lived up to the hype (even if it was Houllier's hype) and he's probably bitter and twisted that he has been seen to fail the standard that was expected of him.

I don't wish the lad anything but good fortune in his future in France or whereever he may go...but his future is plainly not at LFC which this article confirms.

Bye bye Cisse
