Dont buy anyone yet, as there are other areas that need sorting out before upfont. keep Baros till January he didnt score to many goals last season but maybe he needs to play in a regular partnership rather than by himself, if he aint scoring goals by then, then sell him.

to be fair he has been up front on his own most games that he has played and did miss half of the season thruogh injury and it did not stop him from chasing every ball that was playedup for himhe had a thankless task but he still tried to make it happen.too bad  that he was a lone ranger :blues:

The lad plays for himself and not for the fans or the club, I used to really like the lad but he has shown his true colours over the last season, he is only using us as a spring board for a move to a 'bigger club'

We wouldn't Baros works hard but he is selfish, example is the goal Riise scored in the final against Chelsea, Morientes picked up the ball and crossed it to Riise where Baros would have just gone alone with his head down

I do agree that he has been selfish with the ball, but i think he has started to work more as a team player than at the earlier part of the season. He works hard every time he plays but could do with a partner so he can play closer to the goal.
Give him to January and if he's still talking nonsense about moving to a "bigger" club and still playing for himself and not the team then ship him out.

We should have cashed in on Baros immedietly after Euro 2004, we could have maybe got at least £10-£12m after that

But hopefully his reputation is still held in high regard in Europe and some team offer us a good deal!

Good ridance to Baros, never was up to expectations and results we wanted from him. Hope we'll cash him for a reasonable price and acquire some quality finisher.
