Barcelona do not do swap deals. Hamman if he went to Barcelona will be used only till Barcelona have injury crisis. He is not the only target but just one of the many possible targets.

As for Xavi he is the best player in the squad currently which includes Ronaldinho. They are not going to sell him.

Stop with the Manure bullsh!t, they spent 30 million on a player that is not worth that much. If Everton had money they would had settled for 10 million.

I think Hamann has lived of one good season for far to long. This is the view I held last year, and though he has improved this season I think injuries and age are catching up with him.

His contract is expiring at the end of the season and don't be surprised if he ends up leaving on a bosman.

I don't think Hamman would be the kind of person to leave on a bosman.

But I doubt he will be offered a new contract. Rafa has to free up space in his squad to bring in his own players.

Hamman has proved himself so far this season, and he should get a new contract even if we are going to get another midfielder we need a back up. Imagine now if we didn't Hamman, you would have Diao in the midfield which is something I'm not fond of.

he'll leave on a bosman, believe me. at the age of 31 he's not going to be offered a new contract and he's already made public his desire to end his career back in germany. :(

Its time that you stopped the manure bull AB, they paid £30m, on the drip to Everton, who could have got £50m for a lad who WILL be the greatest player this country has ever produced.

Just cus you are an LFC fan does not mean you have to hate everything about Man U and Everton.

I dislike them when we play them and I want them to lose all the time, but when they have good players, or play well sometimes you hjust have to take your hat off and applaud the opposition.

Do you think Bestie was ****** or over rated, or maybe that the 1986-87 Everton league winning team was rubbish?

Get over it.

-It's just being realistic.

-Diao has received a lot of stick, which I think is a bit harsh. The only time he had a run in central midfield, which is his position, was in his first season when he played for about 8 games and was improving game by game but lost his place to Hamann when he was fit.

I think Diao is a player who has a lot more to offer then people realise, if given a run he may have proved himself.
