Awful news. Can a player even come back from this type of injury?   :(

At least Ox himself had plenty of time to deal with it before it became public so that was a good move.  Hopefully his recovery goes well and even if he only manages 4 or 5 games at the end of the season it could be exactly what is needed.
He could be our Ace in the hole!!  :nod

Hopefully he comes back early at the end of the season when the team is tired with a point to prove.

Cheers for that RS.

Hopefully no setbacks with his recovery and he does make a few cameos toward the end of the season. Given his injury record we should be cautious about rushing him back. Its bound to be tough on him but he seems to be coping with it quite well.

I worry that he may never be the same, that ACL injury is a tough one. He is young enough but it may take him 2 years from the initial injury to be back to 100% both mentally and physically and that is a long time to be not playing at the highest level. I hope he makes it because he does seem like a good lad.

Big injury lay off, coming back into the first eleven is going to be an uphill struggle for the lad. Its looking like Lallana all over again.

Lallana is a donkey and will be sold soon in sure. Never rated him.

He'll play an integral part in the run in, Klopps not rushing him, he'll be magic at taking the game to opponents art the end of the season when all others are tired.

Can't see him getting anything apart from a few token minutes towards the end of the season. It's taken him 8 months to have his first run outside in a straight line so this is more than your run of the mill ACL injury. Sounds like another 2-3 months before he can train with the boys. It will then take take him months rather weeks before he is ready to start games. Our final game of the season is on 12th May at Anfield. Would be great if he could make a morale boosting appearance off the bench in that game.

That's what I think will happen. Klopp said so himself that Chamberlain will need the entire season to recover.
