I still think The Water boy could be a good player for us.  I hope it happens, I don't think it will, but I do hope so.

Aquilani has spent the entire season on loan at Juve after failing to establish himself at Anfield.

The 26-year-old has impressed during his stint with the Italian club keen to make the move a permanent deal.

However, Juve sporting director Giuseppe Marotta insists they will not pay the reported £16million required to land the former Roma star.

"There is a buy-out clause that has to be activated by May 15," Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.

"We'll try to reach an agreement before the deadline. I can certainly say we will not sign Aquilani for the sum set by Liverpool."

Milan are also thought to be tracking Aquilani and they could move for the playmaker if Juventus fail to strike a deal with Liverpool.

I assume this means juve until today before other italian clubs could come in for him?

Fck them off and get him back in if they are not willing to pay what was agreed.

Could of done with him yesterday mate.
We could have played him where Meireles had been playing.
The squad and options we have are not great at all at the moment.
Kenny has done a remarkable job to get the results he has with the players he has there.

I don't really get why Juve are :censored: around for? If anything he is worth more then the pre arranged fee following his not so successful season here..

Its not really a saga though is it?  He went to Juve on loan for a season were they have an option to sign him at the end of it.  As far I know, Juve can either pay for him or he is our player again... Their choice really.

I hope they sign him cos he has made it clear he doesnt want to come back and we don't need players that arent really interested

Though he needs a new number now should he be staying - which I still dont think he is. I fail to see the need for the loan if everything was cushty

If Kenny fancies him (in a footballing sense) :D he will surely stay.....

He is Kennys sort of player, and the very type of player that Kenny will get the very best from.

I think he already has. Not a good idea to voice it tho in case it falls through...
