The injuries are obviously a cause for concern but lets hope all that will be behind him.

One thing that almost everyone is saying about him is that he is a top player which is great.
The lad looks to have a great shot on him so lets hope when he gets fit he is allowed to play further forward.
He could be the key to opening up those stubborn teams that come to anfield with every man behind the ball intent on stopping us scoring.

Cant wait to see him in a red shirt now me.

Thank fk we have a medical staff that knows how to protect a player from recurring injury  :D

Torres :-
Hamstring Injury  Liverpool Injuries  2008 November 26th
Hamstring Injury  Liverpool Injuries  2008 October 15th
Hamstring Injury  Liverpool Injuries  2008 August 31st
Hamstring Injury  Liverpool Injuries  2008 February 7th

I remember when he had those injuries, and the most he was out for was about three weeks at most if I remember correctly. The rest weren't really all that serious. I remember Rafa getting flack in the press for "wrapping him in whool" by either not starting him, or having him come off the bench.

Looking at the youtube video there he looks great with both feet.
Scored a cracking goal with his left foot and he also hit some great first time passes with his left as well.

He is right footed predominately isnt he ?

looks like he has good vision as well, there was a lovely reverse pass in behind the defence in there.

I haven't seen much of Aquilani at all, even though I do watch Serie A quite often.

Of course his apparent proneness to injury is a concern but lets give the lad a chance. Personally I think he's a bit of a risk but he's here now. Let's see what he can do..... By all accounts, he's supposed to be quite a player. So here's hoping.

On the plus side, a run of at least 6 consecutive games should do Lucas a world of good. From what I've seen of the lad, I still think he has got what it takes footballing wise. Maybe a run of games is what he needs to build his confidence and play himself back to form.
