He looks like a very good player when he actually plays but thats not very often.

Could probably sell him and get Ireland without making any financial loss.

What's Aquilani worth anyway?

I think we'd struggle to get half our money back, and even then we'd probably only get some loan offers from Italy.

Might as well keep him and see how it pans out. But i'm not holding my breath. We need this guy to play well (and stay fit) for one season before we see anything back in the way of a transfer.

It'd be daft to sell the guy until he's at least given the opportunity to show why he was so revered by the fans back in Italy. Unless that is, Roy has decided he wants to play like Fulham instead. IF that's the case he might as well go...and we'll be out of pocket as a result....shyte !

All this talk about Aquilani being a liability ...and the new season is only 4 days old with one game played ???  .... sometimes I forget this is a forum for Liverpool fans
surely we can give every player at Roy's disposal the length of a season to prove his worth, especially if they are of the caliber of Alberto
because believe me someone will benefit if we decided to sell .....and just for this once wouldn't it be nice after all the patience we have afforded him if that team  was us ???

Wow, I agree with Mr Liverpool.
Football is a relatively simple game and Roy knows it ;)

this quarrel has moved from the slightly amusing stage to the annoying and petty stage. time to pack it in eh, lads? or at least get a bit more creative and keep us entertained.

What u talking about i hardly think people r overracting its based on the fact hes been injuried and had viruses everyother week since we bought him not just because he missed the opening game if this season.

Injured every other week? what you on about soft sh!te

He's been injured once and had a virus the whole time he's been with us. Only reason he never played when Rafa was here was because he was being super cautious.

How have people came to the conclusion that he is injured at the moment??
