Aimar rumour?

Has anyone else heard that Aimar is going to be reveilled at Anfield on Friday in a deal worth £22m over 4 years?

It was a post on the talklfc website but just wondered before people start jumpin on my back.

Not heard anything and can't see it happening. The Benitez-Valencia relationship is so bitter that they'll be no business done between either club. Also the deal would be done to late to enable him to play in the CL.

Oh yeah........ :D  :laugh: lol

Heard we have to register a player by THURSDAY to have him eligible for the Champions league so expect to hear something by then (but NOT Aimar cos i don't think it will happen) ....Ballack ? ???  Watch this space :D

Keep hearing these names bandied about...Ayala, Ballack, Aimar etc..but are we REALLY gonna get one of them? Havn't heard anything solid at all. I'd have Ayala and settle for that and noone else...although Ballack in our midfield with Gerrard and Kewell has got my mouth watering somewhat.

Don't think Valencia will want to do any business with Liverpool amicably, unless we offer them Chelski-type sum of money which we don't have anyway.

I have to agree that the prospect of Aimar coming into the team will bring in a new midfield engine of creativity. But before any black and white is presented, it still remains much of a fantasy. Valencia will certainly place a "NOT FOR SALE" tag on their midfield wonder.
