4 Players, who?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Always thought Berger, Smicer and Baros where less obvious good players for us.

Exciting and underrated Czech trio who would have fit in well with Rodgers strategy.

Those 3 at their peak let alone 4 would have an impact now in this set up and possibly more
than during their time here under a more conservative Houllier.

If I had to pick a fourth then what about McManaman, incredible energy and carrying of the
ball in his pomp and you don't get to Madrid without top quality.

Dev I go with Science fiction SF and have Daniel on the bench as impact sub which I expect would please some immensely :D

Danny would make a great sub if Robbie was taking his place. Not sure his ego would let him sit there for long before looking for the exit :eyebrow

i hate to disagree but...

Baros and Smicer wouldn't have got near this team. Smicer pretty much had one good game, the CL final!

Disagree is fine :)

Clearly this side is the best we have had in a long while but I think the Czech lads would be Rodgers type players and
perform a lot better in the current set up.

Did Hansen or Souness ever play in the Premiership? I don't think they did. Sorry to be pedantic   :)

The question really wasn't that difficult. Mind you Parchea's answer is a bit of a classic and I haven't got a single clue how any of his selected played players could actually help with the exception of McManaman  :no

Fowler E7 - it's all about opinions but would you honestly bi Mingolet and keep Johnson?

Woof you've mentioned Betty a few times recently   I think you're pining for him  you always did have a soft spot for him.

Ok so it looks like it was me that can't read. What a silly fkr   I originally thought Stu wanted the geriatrics to come up with four players pre and post Premiership. That is the way I read it. Perhaps Stu could clarify.
