Its a document of handover of the stadium.Everton actually played at anfield from 1884to1892.

Im not sure of the reason why but they moved in 1892 and we moved in,its been red since!

The owner of the ground, local businessman and publican John Houlding, raised the rent at the place, and insisted on only selling his ales.

I don't see why this guy thinks that this would give us another league title. The name on that sheet says Everton FC & Athletic Grounds, which was the name John Houlding wanted his club to be called. But the FA didn't want there to be two teams called Everton, so it was changed to Liverpool FC

im only reporting what ive read and dont have all the facts, the guy who brought this up must know what he is going on about or he`s going to look really stupid.

i guess what he is saying is if gillett and hicks went there seperate ways, hicks keeps Liverpool as it is now but renames us Anfield Reds, then gillett starts another team and takes the name Liverpool.

what happens with the honours won

what this guy is saying is that the Liverpool we see today where once everton and not that everton moved and liverpool where then formed.

or something like that :s

Liverpool were never Everton mate.
The first LFC team was formed from Scottish League players.

Whoever wrote what you read about that document seems to have his wires crossed.I really cant see how in any way it can give us another League title.
All a bit strange!! :D

I know thats what it looks like mate!

The 'Everton team' did not change its name to Liverpool...The document is to certify that the site at Anfield changed owners.
Its like when you move house the deeds are put in someone elses name!
