Yeah you can run PATA and SATA drives together, did you change the jumpers on the SATA drive to 'slave', what are the problems your having?  ???

Can I attach and run more than 2 hard-drives at once as well as running my dvdr and cdr?

Cheers.

I'm not sure I understand the question. Internal or external hard drives?

Internal drives. My motherboard has 1 connection for the hard-drives. The ribbon cable has 2 connections for the hard-drives. I have 2 at the minute - 30gb master and 120gb slave. My computer case has more hard drive bays. Is it possible for me to connect more than 2 hard drives at once?

Hope that makes some sort of sense!

Do you know is the connection is SATA or IDE?

The short answer is that I don't know if you can have more than one slave drive on the same cable.

You could ways buy a PCI SATA controller card, if you haven't any spare connections on the MoBo

There's were you went wrong Barry!
1.  Never buy a PC from PC World
2.  And more importantly, NEVER...NEVER, buy a Packard Bell.

Depends what your using it for RAM and CPU aren't the be all and end all of a PC, but a 3.0 mhz with 512mb is good for general stuff like Internet, email, word processing, etc  :)

I have got a Pentium ® 4 CPU - 3.2 GHz
MSI 945P Neo Motherboard (SATA2 RAID)
2.0 GB DDR2 RAM (can go up too 8 GB)
Mirrored application hard drive (faster load) 2x80 GB
& data drive 190 GB.
MSI NX 6600 256 MB DDR Graphics Card (need to update this)
and a fricking nice mouse.
:)

But its all useless if you don't upgrade your drivers. I tried this myself a couple of weeks ago and fried my motherboard. Just got a new one recently, luckliy under warrantee.
