Blue Peter still going today.Anyone else old enough to remember John Noakes trying to control Lulu the baby Elephant;

that bit was just before my time. but i remember when the blue peter garden got vandalised, probably by some hoodie wearing, glue sniffing, single parented, council estate hoodlums spazzing about to gangster rap and drinking alcopops bought for them by the local booze pusher and kiddie fiddler who was allegedly none other than peter purvis (just say the name)

There was another really unusual one about ..Toast

i remember both songs, i cant remember the name of the band that sung toast but i can tell you that the singer in the band was none other that Paul Young

totally shocked and surprised  at that!! Seen Paul Young in concert too , and i didnt even know he sang that

Banana Splits were the ticket!! I only remember them being on in the summer hols, straight after the whirly birds in their helicopters.. The arabian Knights cartoon and the 3 muskateers in Banana splits were great too-soon as it was over it was -reach for my sword and whup my sisters

I remember my mum having a 7" record of a song called "Popcorn". (I think she still has it somewhere). It was remixed in 99 by Essem & Artch. Its a good song......

the blue peter garden was actually vandalised by a man who is now a pro footballer (well just retired) and of great esteem, none other than les ferdinand and also i beleive dennis wise.

i loved bod, when aunt flo came on the music was sleazy, and also farmer barleymo.

i only actually remember one episode where bod throws the apple into the air and it doesnt come back down

you're so so wrong. the apple DOES come down eventually and it hits bod on the head, but only after aunt flo, postman frank, farmer barleymow and pc copper have turned up and wondered what he's waiting for and suggesting he should be doing something less stupid with his time.

you know too much
