Saint and Mick kept the forum ticking

They were regular very good football posters who were on here all the time, i always enjoyed reading there posted especially Micks.

So when they left - or got banned - the forum went a little downhill but there is still a lot of kwality posters on here

I thought both Mick and Saint were able to come back if they wanted? I did enjoy Mick's posts when about football but I don't think he's got the balls to come back as he got it all wrong with Hodgsen. Too much pride ect...

I think this place died because some people took it and themselves far too seriously.

It became far too personal and spiteful during Rafa/Roy era and its quite ironic when that all ended, they seemed to all disappear on both sides of fences.

Unfortunately quite a few other posters who dont have a fan club gave up on place or couldnt bothered posted during the troubles. So once all tit tat arguments finished, no one was left to post

its a good point, I think tensions were pretty high around then, in fact I think 90% of posts around that time had an agenda one way or the other, just the way it goes. I might start footballing threads here there and everywhere to try and get something going

How come you changed your user name Bav, sorry Tub? I remember asking one of the mods to change mine and I never had a reply?

Can't really remember why tbh, was sort of just on a whim really. I think I might have been a bit pished when I sent that pm to supersub or whoever it was to change it too.

Mick and Saint went to another forum - Saint still posts on there but Mick stopped after he got everything wrong in terms of Hodgson , Poulsen , Konchesky and Cole - he reproduced everything he said on here on new forum and got shot down in flames when everything he was saying was proven wrong .

Saint is still his usual balanced self with his very good posting . He will never come back on here because of personal reasons .

I saw some of the stuff he was posting there, some of it was even more over the top than what we saw here id say.

I saw some of the stuff he was posting there, some of it was even more over the top than what we saw here id say.

He reappeared a week ago to slate Lucas as well as Spearing and had a pop at a few people for overrating some of the youngsters .

To slate Lucas and the kids? It get's better.  Gonna have to check that out for myself I think.
