Um...speaking as someone who has actually lost family members in the First World War, I don't think that Mr Choudhury was burning the poppies to insult the entire war dead since 1914. As far as I can make out, he was making a point, albeit rather clumsily, about British soldiers occupying Afghanistan at present.

His stunt, is only given more fuel by people if they start pulling out their hair and talking about benefit scroungers getting kicked out of the country etc.

The best reaction to these types of stunts and I include Koran burnings in there too, is to simply ignore them.

In the light of the "God Hates Fags" antics of the Westboro Baptist Chuch in America, this stuff is small potatoes indeed.

laughed so hard when the english commentators thought Spurs were going to do an upset and beat Real Madrid 5-0 in the 2nd leg.

the disappointment they felt at the final whistle

erm.. you do actually know what a cockney is?

Kate Nash is north london, lives about 5 miles from me

Dizzie and tinie just try that london american thing... pretty badly as well. (Dizzie is a cockney, but his accent definately aint)

A true cockney, a singer born by the bow bells, would be Marc Bolan from T Rex, Vera Lynn or Sid Vicous

It's a bit like me saying that Liverpool sound that Oasis do sucks
