i did not have a problem in the army, and/or i do not have a problem with shooting someone, if my government ordered it, providing it aint one of my family

but surely if you would be happy to shoot anyone your government told you to, you must believe them to be 100% correct in their decisions. this should include the orders to shoot your own family as well then shouldn't it?

what would you do if your government told you too jump in front of a bus?

It is hard for someone who isnt in the military to understand following orders given to someone . im in the forces myself and follow orders - even if i dont agree with them i still follow them .I dont have any other choice due to the establishment i am in and thats the way it goes . If things go wrong the its the person who gives the orders who gets in the .

Organ harvesting  - definition

I never said that it had to be involuntary harvesting. I presumed that the organs would be paid for, all the cr@p about guns etc where just used by OTHER people to add to the litlte girl hysteria.  I never mentioned guns, peodophiles or anything of the sort.

Agree with Sabre and Woof... funny i never do but in this case i think its just ridiculous not to...

One thing though.. Sabre when u talk about Organs having to be donated and not bought... i mean i understand where ur coming from and surely u make a very valid point but i think theres so much more to it that u dont consider...

In many cases people end up dying due to organ shortages quite simply because people have no incentive to donate their organs after theyr dead...

Saint's idea is absolutely out of order and all the polishing hes been trying to do hasnt helped him out one bit... end of the day its always gonna be one of the most ridiculous things ever put out on this forum...

Back to ur point though... the only way to get more people donating organs is by giving them incentive to do so... if you know that after u die ur family would be getting X pounds or dollars forr your organs if theyr usable then ur more likely to consider donating ur organs...in which case you'd be selling them not donating them... but i dont see what the big fuss about buying organs would be? Organ transplants are very expensive but the organs are donated not bought ? why ?

Its called rent seeking... Dont know if u know much about American politics but its basically Al Gore who proposed the whole bill that has to do with organ transplants and dismissing the idea of having an organ market... dont wanna go into too much detail but put in simple terms:

you need an organ... u have to pay alllottt of money to get a transplant ... the person giving the organ doesnt get anything... where does the money go ? it goes to the medical facilities and the organ sharing organization (usually a government agency).... if the system was different in a sense that ud be able to buy the organs, the people who are making money out of it now wouldnt be making as much money as they are...

no seriously though... i know a coupla people who are really close to me who had abortions and i gotta say... my opinion on them as people hasnt changed one bit... sometimes under some conditions you might have no other choice so id understnad if people agreed or disagreed with it...

personally if i had a vagina i wouldnt get an abortion ... its not the same as saying that if i had a drinking problem and ended up fckin my liver i should be the one to blame and shouldnt be going around looking for a transplant...
