Of course , I could be wrong. ???

I said HUNT IT DOWN ..... NOT THEM. It being the organ needed. I never said the fresher the better, so that must come straight from your imagination.

if it was a member of YOUR family dying because they needed a kidney or some other organ, you would WANT them hunting it down,

So yes you are wrong.

"Hunt it Down" ok , I guess it (the organ) was just running wild in it's third world organ reserve.

Fresher the better was never in quotes.

Next blub ?

WE SHOULD KILL HEALTHY PEOPLE FOR THEIR ORGANS

Suppose Bill is a healthy man without family or loved ones. Would it be ok painlessly to kill him if his organs would save five people, one of whom needs a heart, another a kidney, and so on? If not, why not?

Consider another case: you and six others are kidnapped, and the kidnapper somehow persuades you that if you shoot dead one of the other hostages, he will set the remaining five free, whereas if you do not, he will shoot all six. (Either way, he'll release you.)

If in this case you should kill one to save five, why not in the previous, organs case?

If in this case too you have qualms, consider yet another:

You're in the cab of a runaway tram and see five people tied to the track ahead. You have the option of sending the tram on to the track forking off to the left, on which only one person is tied. Surely you should send the tram left, killing one to save five.

But then why not kill Bill?
___

this is how it all started :D

No need to "blub" and no need to twist my words either. I hunted down a good book today, that wasn't running wild in the 3rd World either.

No you just stuck the fresher part in for hyperbolic effect.

I was surprised to see S@ints original post as anyone, but whether we've taken it the wrong way or he realises now he may of said the wrong things. I still think he's a top bloke and I'd guess many of you still think that to, my mind wont change because of a few "distasteful" things said by him. People make mistakes, look back in hindsight and realise they've over stepped the mark. But if any of you are really that small minded to change you're opinion over a guy who is one of the nicest people on this forum usually because he has said certain things not to you're liking then I think you're a pretty fickle person.

He isnt no Karim, he doesnt come on here to cause trouble. But to merely give his opinion on something that was very controversial and said it in a very abrupt way. So what, are the Mods the only people allowed to make mistakes ? I think this witchunt and crucifying of Saint has gone on for long enough now, he probably regrets saying the things he did.

So what are you saying ? You'd prefer an organ that wasn't fresh ?

OK, again I was wrong,
To all concerned , When Saint wants an organ be advised it doesn't necessarily have to be a fresh one

How's that Saint ? hope we've set things straight.
